**Recover From Common Fuse Mistakes**
AVR fuse programming is powerful, but it is easy to accidentally configure a device in a way that prevents normal ISP programming.
**This programmer can recover devices with issues such as:**
* RSTDISBL fuse accidentally programmed
* SPIEN fuse disabled
* Incorrect CKSEL clock fuse settings
* Other incorrect fuse configurations
Once restored, the ATtiny device can be programmed again using your preferred ISP programmer and software. Never worry about permanently losing an AVR device because of a fuse mistake again!
**Preserve Your Flash and EEPROM Data**
A special feature of this programmer is the ability to restore fuses while preserving your existing program memory.
To preserve the Flash and EEPROM contents:
1. Install jumper J1
2. Perform the fuse restore operation
The erase command will be skipped, allowing your existing firmware and data to remain intact.
**Important Note About Lock Bits:**
**If the device lock bits have already been programmed, the chip must be erased before the fuse restore operation can complete successfully.**
**In this situation:**
1. Remove jumper J1
2. Power on the programmer
The erase operation will be performed
Flash and EEPROM contents will be erased during recovery

No PC is required.
Simply:
1. Insert the ATtiny device into the programmer.
2. Connect the required power supply.
3. Start the recovery operation.
4. Check the LED result.
The entire process takes only seconds.
**Power Supply Requirements:**
For reliable operation, you must use:
DC power supply greater than 14.5V
Positive center polarity
The power supply is not included in order to reduce cost and shipping weight.
Before use, it is recommended to verify your power supply voltage and polarity with a voltmeter.
