## Description

The Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 6000, Beosystem 8000 and Beocenter 5000 and 700x series are likely to have issues with the display LED segments not lighting up. This includes Beocenter 5000, 7000, 7002, 7007, 7700 but also Beomaster 6000 (Type 22xx), Beomaster 8000, Beocord 6000, Beocord 6002, Beocord 8002, Beocord 8004 and Beocord 9000.

This kit contains a set of replacement display modules by own design, with suitable LEDs already installed.
The display modules fit the Beocord 600x, 800x, 9000 without modifications. The original display plastic housing is reused for an authentic restoration. The part is naturally NOT an original spare part but is 100% compatible with the original.

***Note: The kit is also available preassembled, with the plastic housing already installed. See the available item options and select accordingly.***

Since the LEDs are brighter than the originals, it is suggested to add a layer of film to dim the LEDs (suitable film is included in your order). With the film, the brightness matches the original brightness. No other modifications are needed to install this module.

Part replaces original B&O spare part no 8330028 (1DP1), 8330014 (1DP2) or equivalent spares.

**Repair notes**

The PPM bulb often breaks during removal of the PPM display. It is therefore highly encouraged to change it as well.

**Parts included**

* Counter display module (DP1)
* Peak power meter PPM (DP2)
* 2.54mm pin headers of correct length
* Film for dimming the display brightness

**Optional extras**

* PPM Bulb

**Installation**

Replacing the display modules is relatively straightforward, although requires removing the original display modules carefully, disassembling them and then replacing the display PCB. Please do NOT buy, if you are not confident in replacing this part yourself! A detailed installation guide is provided with each display purchase.

Similar display modules are available for Beomaster 6000, Beomaster 8000. See my other listings for combined purchase & shipping
