## Description

Extend the **Bluetooth** coverage of your **Home Assistant** installation with this compact **ESP32 Bluetooth Proxy**.

It is ideal for connecting **Bluetooth** devices that are too far away from your **Home Assistant** server, such as:

				⚖️ Smart scales,
				💪 Blood pressure monitors,
				🌡️ Temperature and humidity sensors,
				📍 Beacons,
				🔋 Sensors and devices,
				and many other Bluetooth devices compatible with Home Assistant.

The **Bluetooth Proxy** communicates with **Home Assistant** over Wi-Fi and provides a **Bluetooth** radio close to the devices you want to connect.

Why use a **Bluetooth Proxy**?

The simplest way to add **Bluetooth** to **Home Assistant** is to connect a **USB Bluetooth adapter** to the machine running **Home Assistant**. However, **Bluetooth** has a limited range. If your **Home Assistant** server is located in an office, utility room, garage, or another remote area, some **Bluetooth** devices may be out of range.

A **Bluetooth Proxy** solves this problem by moving the **Bluetooth** radio to where it is actually needed.

You can install one or several **Bluetooth Proxies** throughout your home to improve **Bluetooth** coverage.

Unlike networks such as **Zigbee** or **Wi-Fi**, there is no need to provide continuous **Bluetooth** coverage throughout the entire home. A **Bluetooth Proxy** only needs to provide coverage where **Bluetooth** devices are actually located.

Each **BP-2HA** operates independently, unlike a mesh network, one **BP-2HA** does not relay or extend the **Bluetooth** range of another **BP-2HA**. Each **Proxy** communicates directly with **Home Assistant** over **Wi-Fi** and handles the **Bluetooth** devices within its own coverage area.

Available Options :

				All versions include:

							🔄 Reset button,
							🔌 USB power.

				Depending on the version you choose, each Proxy can also be equipped with:

							💡 LED,
							🔔 Buzzer,
							💡🔔 LED + Buzzer.
	
The LED and/or buzzer can be controlled by **Home Assistant** to provide local visual or audible feedback.

The LED can be off, or solid or blinking in one of the following colors:

							- Red
							- Blue

							- Purple
							- Blinking Red
							- Blinking Blue
							- Blinking Green
							- Blinking Yellow
							- Blinking Orange

			🔔 indicate that an automation has been triggered,
			✅ indicate that a Bluetooth device is connected or that data has been successfully received.
