## Description

#### What is it?

A high quality audio recorder. [Lego for scale, not included]

Like many people - I do videos, but audio on the camera is not ideal, so I used to use a shirt mic and expensive audio recorder.

This audio recorder is way better, it is designed to be a self contained, small, very high quality, stereo, shirt mic.

Records to SD card, and can be configured to upload using supplied open source software. Also works as USB connected storage for simple file transfers without removing the card.

Battery, SD card, and USB lead not included. Battery readily available on [Amazon](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08215N9R8).

- ESP32-S3-MINI-1-N4-R2 (Dual core, 4MB Flash, 2MB SPI RAM)
- WS2812 LEDs, one for L/R status, and a line of them for status/battery level
- Micro SD card slot fully wired for 4 bit working
- LiPo charge circuit, and almost zero power sleep/off mode
- USB-C for charging, programming, and file transfer
- Loop at top for lanyard or clip (both included)
- Comes with 3D resin printed case - ideal for hand held or lanyard
- You need battery and SD card

#### Why did you make it?

To produce high quality audio on my YouTube videos - I am very pleased with it.

#### What makes it special?

It is compact, built in battery charger, WiFi, and the TDK microphones are excellent quality. Seriously, they are amazing.

It "just works"!

### Tips

You need a battery and SD card, but do not fit the SD card initially as it disables settings (as a security measure). Power on with no SD and connect the the WiFi AP to set up initially.

The front LEDs are meant to be covered slightly but the LED show trhough them - they generally look better than a hole.

The back LED is meant to be visible via SD card slot, as it is showing SD card status.
