What is it?

This is a pre-assembled board meant to be used as a replacement for faulty '051550' custom ICs used on many Konami arcade PCBs from mid 80s to late 90s.

Why did you make it?

I did it because the original part breaks very easily, making expensive and valuable arcade PCBs useless.

What makes it special?

The replacement has exactly the same functionality of the original part which is known to be fragile and prone to failure.Also the coin counters/lockouts circuit has been lately implemented making this replacement a 1:1 replica of the original part.It's the only replacement available so far, nobody else made it.
