I needed a few of these so I had a batch made at JLCPCB. The pcb is based on the CMOY headphone amplifier. All the SMD comes pre-soldered from the fabricator, so really you just need to solder the jacks, pots, connectors and two capacitors. It is a very easy build. The panel is black aluminum.
The module has mounting holes for a USB port, which I use for interfacing with other modules such as my MMI USB power, or Ornament and Crime.
Any usb with the 29.5mm mounting hole distance will work.
The depth of the module is 24mm at the PCB side. The usb cable I have is deeper, about 47mm, but this could probably be made even smaller depending on the cable you have.
Be forewarned! This is a prototype, so the manufacturing is not up to commercial modules standard, but it is still quite nice for DIY. I'll answer any questions as best I can but I make no guarantees! It's not a finished module, just the panel and PCB (and rare parts if you add the option).
