What is it?
This is a pre-assembled board meant for using a common 6116 RAM (or other 300mil DIP24 2k x 8-bit RAM device) in place of the hard to find Sony CXK5808 (1K x 8-bit 400mil DIP22 RAM).Each adapter will come with a pre-installed 2k x 8-bit RAM. The Sony CXK5808 is used on some arcade PCBs like :

Why did you make it?
I did it because the original Sony CXK5808 RAM is very hard to find nowadays and no equivalent parts do exist.
