Replacement of the '86S105' custom IC used on Capcom arcade PCBs
What is it?
This is a pre-assembled board meant to be used as a replacement for faulty '86S105' custom ICs used on Capcom arcade PCBs like :

NOTE: On some PCBs like Quiz Tonosama no Yabou you must close the jumper 'JP1' located on the bottom of reproduction (see fourth picture) in order to fix some graphical glitches.
**HOW TO USE IT :
The replacement is made of two boards : the bottom one with castellated half holes must be soldered in place of the original '86S105'.The upper board must be plugged onto the bottom board.Pin 1 of the upper and bottom board is noted by a little white arrow and a "PIN 1 " writing.The upper board must be plugged in a way that the white arrow/"PIN 1" writing matches the white arrow/"PIN 1" writing on the bottom board.Each board comes assembled in all its parts and it's ready to use. **
Why did you make it?
I did it because the original part goes bad very easily, making expensive and valuable arcade PCBs useless.
What makes it special?
The replacement has exactly the same functionality of the original part which is known to be prone to failure.It's the only replacement available so far, nobody else made it.
