HyperDisplay

HyperDisplay is a color channel separator that splits the R, G, B, and I channels seen in in vintage display RGBI outputs, such as those on the Commodore 128, PC CGA, or PC EGA, into separate monochrome composite outputs.

The DIY kit

Kit version comes with everything necessary to populate the PCB. Standoffs not included.

Requires an external 5V power source that plugs into the power terminal attached to the PCB.

Important information

HyperDisplay uses the existing sync signals from your vintage computer. These signals frequently were out of spec but "good enough" for CRT monitors of the time. HyperDisplay may not be compatible with many LCD monitors.
