Description

The BD-606 is a TR-606 bass drum clone in the Eurorack format, packaged in a small 2hp form factor to minimize used space on your rack. It supports additional functionality not available in the original TR-606 drum machine as well as features that make it more suited to the Eurorack format:

• Accent (AC) CV / Gate (GT) Input: The accent input allows each trigger to have a different accent setting for more dynamic drum tracks. The BD-606 now has two selectable accent modes: AC CV mode and AC GT mode.

  • AC CV Mode: AC CV mode allows the Accent setting to be modified by an external analog CV input. The AC trim setting acts as an offset for the AC CV input voltage.
  • AC GT Mode: AC GT mode allows the Accent effect to be gated (On/Off) rather than continuously variable, similar to the functionality of the original TR-606. The AC trim setting sets the accent amount for gated beats.

• Tone: Adjust the tone of the drum - ranges from a deep drum kick to a high 'tom' sound.

• Oscillator Mix: Set the mix of the internal 'bass' and 'click' oscillators.

• Internal Gate to Trigger Conversion: No need for an external converter - the module responds to only the rising edge of a gate signal and creates a precisely timed trigger pulse. This avoids double triggering on the falling edge of a longer gate signal.
