The BE-IIS HPP-PoSPE is a stackable and detectable Technology HAT for Raspberry Pi, adding Single-Pair Ethernet with Power over Dataline capability to Linux-based prototypes, gateways and industrial test systems.

The board supports both 10BASE-T1S and 10BASE-T1L applications and enables data and power over the same SPE cable. It is designed for powered industrial networks, compact field devices, evaluation setups and Raspberry Pi based gateway systems.

Power over Single-Pair Ethernet is supported up to 33 V and 1 A. This allows the HAT to supply remote nodes or camera/interface modules over the same two-wire connection used for communication.

The HAT is stackable and can be combined with other BE-IIS Technology HATs in the same Raspberry Pi system — for example CAN-FD, RS-485, UART, Ethernet, power or vision HATs. It is detectable by the Raspberry Pi platform and fits into the BE-IIS modular industrial hardware ecosystem.

Typical use cases include SPE evaluation, PoDL/PoSPE prototyping, industrial Ethernet gateways, distributed sensor nodes, powered multidrop networks and Linux-based industrial communication platforms.
