What is it?

Take any ESP32 development board that has the D1 Mini bus pinout, and stack a Betsy board atop it to get connectors to control one stepper motor plus some buttons, lights and sensors. This board is ideal for making simple motion control projects like controlling blinds, doors or camera sliders, alongside motion control software like FluidNC or ESPHome

Why did you make it?

I first designed this board when I was asked to make a ball-barrel for televeised lottery draws. Its really handy for doing things like camera motion control, adding a stepper motor and belt to a camera dolly slider. I also used it to retrofit electronic locking to my sliding front door (sliding doors are always tricky to automate!)

What makes it special?

This board is the absolute minimum you need to retrofit Internet of Things control to blinds, doors and other household items. You'll also need a CPU board and a motor driver.
