An absolutely tiny development board based on the ESP32-C3.

It has a sturdy USB-C port sunk into the board to minimize the thickness. Beside the port are 2mm slots for the device to be screwed down. The port also portrudes past the PCB edge for flush panel mounting.

The antenna is among the smallest available. It's a quality ceramic chip from Johanson technology in the USA with surprising range for its size.

The board also has a few protective features such as TVS diodes on the USB data lines and power input, a 500mA fuse on the USB power line and two ferrite beads to reduce noise. The onboard linear voltage regulator can provide up to 600mA at 3,3v. The input voltage range with the current one is 3,62-5,5v.

The microcontroller is connected to a bare metal patch on the backside to make a heatsink more efficient if it's required.

Features:
  • 32 bit RISC-V processor at up to 160MHz
  • 4MB flash storage
  • 400KB RAM
  • Wi-fi 802.11b/g/n
  • Bluetooth LE 5/mesh
  • 11 available IO pins
  • 1,27mm pin spacing, castellated
  • Reset and boot mode switches
  • All in a device of only 23x12,75x3,9mm
  • Made entirely in the EU
