With the 2 LDO's, one is always on to power the ESP32 in deepsleep and the 2nd shuts off in deepsleep to save power. 1 stemma connector is connected to 1 LDO that's always on and the other is attached to the 2nd LDO to shuts off in deepsleep. This allows you to attach adafruit/sparkfun sensor boards and not have them pull power in deepsleep if its not needed to be on 24/7.

additionally there are 2 versions of an i2c extender board which allows attaching adafruit or some sparkfun sensor boards for a sleek compact data logging package. 1 extender holds 1 adafruit sensor, the XL holds 2 adafruit sensors.
