The HardCode HC26060 puts an NXP Kinetis E microcontroller on a small, breadboard-friendly board — the same size and header layout as the popular "Black Pill". Choose the KE02 (40 MHz) or the KE04 (48 MHz) version.
Kinetis E chips are made for noisy, 5 V systems: they run from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. Power the module from USB-C (about 3 V on the MCU) or feed 5 V into the 3V3 pin and run the whole chip at 5 V.
A cheap Kinetis E breakout is hard to find. NXP's evaluation boards are Arduino-sized and often out of stock. The HC26060 gives you a real KE02 or KE04 on a breadboard, with all usable I/O on the headers.
Program over SWD with a probe that supports Kinetis KE02/KE04 (for example SEGGER J-Link, CMSIS-DAP with pyOCD/OpenOCD, or NXP MCUXpresso). Choose the exact device: Kinetis E uses a different flash controller from other Kinetis parts. RESET for the probe is on header pin RST (not on the SWD header). Read the safety notes in the datasheet before your first flash (flash security byte, mass erase).
USB-C cable and SWD probe are not included.
Rev A, first production batch, made in small numbers. Every unit is flashed with a test program and checked (power, LED, buttons, serial console) before it ships. SWD flashing tested by HardCode with a J-Link and a CMSIS-DAP probe, both through OpenOCD.
