Noise Toy is a kit specifically created for circuit bending. It is designed to emulate a child’s toy and includes samples of sounds typically found in such devices as well as nursery rhyme tunes. These sounds can be distorted and glitched in complex ways.
In keeping with the methodology of circuit bending it’s a bit of a puzzle working out how to get sounds out of it. There is a cheat sheet available if you get stuck.
The demos linked below give a good idea of the type of sounds that can be produced.
Supplied as a kit of PCB and components. Power input is via a 2.1mm DC power socket or battery snap, and audio output is mono through a 3.5mm jack socket.
You can add additional components to the board such as variable resistors and LDRs if you wish, but you can also just use simple pieces of wire.
Orders normally processed and despatched within a few days.
