What is it?
This is a replacement for faulty 'PS4' custom MCU used Bubble Bobble original Taito arcade PCB.The original chip is located @IC17 on top board with 'A78-01' silkscreening.See above picture for reference.
Why did you make it?
I did it because the original part breaks very easily, making expensive and valuable arcade PCBs useless.
What makes it special?
The replacement has exactly the same functionality of the original part which is known to be prone to failure.
