The Orbic R500L5 Rayhunter Hotspot is a portable cellular-security monitoring device based on the newer Orbic 5G hotspot platform. It brings the Rayhunter experience from the original Orbic RC400L target to the R500L5, adding a modern 5G-capable hardware base while preserving the same simple appliance-style workflow.

Rayhunter is designed to passively monitor cellular network behavior and flag suspicious activity that may indicate the presence of a cell-site simulator. This device is prepared as a dedicated Rayhunter unit, allowing researchers, journalists, privacy advocates, organizers, and security-conscious users to carry a compact cellular-network awareness tool without needing a laptop or software-defined radio setup.
