The Kit

This kit includes all the components needed to make the card, as shown in the first picture. Other cards and backplanes shown in the other pictures are not included. You will require tools, solder, and cleaning materials to assemble this kit.

You will need to source a suitable CompactFlash card. Older, relatively low-capacity (up to 2GB) cards are usually the best choice. Some cards may not work with this simple 8-bit IDE interface, especially more modern, high-capacity, high-speed cards.
