This card houses a Z80 serial I/O (SIO/2) device (Z84C42xxPEG) and a Z80 counter/timer (CTC) device (Z84C30xxPEG), designed for use with the Z50Bus.
The CTC provides four counter/timer channels. Channel 0 is used to control the baud rate of serial port A. Channel 1 is used to control the baud rate of serial port B. Channels 2 and 3 typically provide a periodic timer tick.
The module provides support for Z80 mode 2 interrupts.
Device address options: SIO = 0x80 to 0x83, CTC = 0x88 to 0x8B, or SIO = 0x84 to 0x87, CTC = 0x8C to 0x8F
