This backplane includes six sockets for Z50Bus compatible cards, a 5-volt power input with on/off switch, a voltage supervisor and reset device, and power LED. It also has a horizontally mounted backplane extension socket.

The horizontal socket allows the connection of a backplane extension section, such as the LiNC's 5-slot Z50Bus backplane or a Z50Bus card. Horizontal mounting of a card can be useful when debugging hardware or developing ROM-based software.

SC500 series backplanes include:

• SC507 - 3-slot, narrow spacing
• SC501 - 7-slot, narrow spacing
• SC508 - 10-slot, wide spacing
• SC515 - 14-slot, narrow spacing
• SC517 - Modular, RC-2014 to Z50Bus bridge
• SC513 - Modular, 6-slot, narrow spacing, 5-volt input
• SC522 - Modular, 6-slot, narrow spacing

The Kit

This kit includes all the components needed to make the card, as shown in the first picture. Other cards and backplanes shown in the other pictures are not included. You will require tools, solder, and cleaning materials to assemble this kit.
