A modular (extendable) backplane section with Z50Bus compatible card sockets
This backplane has six Z50Bus compatible card slots with 0.6" spacing.
Backplanes with narrow slot spacing (eg. 0.6″) are best suited to building compact systems, while wide slot spacing (eg. 0.8″) is more convenient when experimenting and developing hardware.
It is a modular design allowing it to be extended with additional modular backplane sections.
SC500 series backplanes include:
- SC507 - 3-slot, narrow spacing
- SC501 - 7-slot, narrow spacing
- SC508 - 10-slot, wide spacing
- SC515 - 14-slot, narrow spacing
- SC517 - Modular, RC-2014 to Z50Bus bridge
- SC513 - Modular, 6-slot, narrow spacing, 5-volt input
- SC522 - Modular, 6-slot, narrow spacing
The Kit
This kit includes all the components needed to make the card, as shown in the first picture. Other cards and backplanes shown in the other pictures are not included. You will require tools, solder, and cleaning materials to assemble this kit.
