This card provides power and reset for a Z50Bus system. It also includes status indicator LEDs.
A regulated supply between 4.75 and 5.25 volts D.C. at up to 1000 milliamps (1 ampere) is required. A USB socket will usually provide this.
This card has an on/off switch to connect the 5-volt supply to the Z50Bus.
A nice clean reset signal is generated at power-up and when the user presses one of the reset buttons.
LED indicators show the state of the power, reset, interrupt, halt, and wait signals.
This card matches the dimensions of other SC500 series Z50Bus cards.
The main features of this design are:
An alternative design with an input of 8 to 15 volts is SC502.
This kit includes all the components needed to make the card, as shown in the first picture. Other cards and backplanes shown in the other pictures are not included. You will require tools, solder, and cleaning materials to assemble this kit.
