Installation & Usage

The TFPITOT01 must be installed parallel to the airflow for accurate readings. It can be mounted using:

  • Clamp Mounting – Secure the tube using a bracket or clamp.
  • Adhesive Bonding – Attach the tube to the aircraft structure using a pre-fabricated socket.

To prevent moisture ingress, ensure the electronics and I2C cable are properly sealed. The sensor should only be exposed to the atmosphere at the front intake holes.

Use of multiple TFPITOT01 sensors

In applications where multiple TFPITOT01 are needed, the TFI2CADT01 module could be used. That allows the connection of up to six airspeed sensors to a single I2C port.
