Having made µModules for some years, it seems time to make our own base for them!

The wonkystuff® µBaseLite is a minimal version of the UBASE from Tangible Waves — since none of our modules use the various bus signals available on the UBASE, we've done away with the switches and signal routing, just providing power to the attached modules.

Module support is using nylon standoffs, which result in a really solid foundation; the locating slot fits nicely over the threaded part of a standoff (see last gallery image).

We're also using brass threaded inserts in the PCB itself, so there should be no worries about pulling the insert out. Each base is also supplied with a pair of longer M3 screws, because we know how tricky it is sometimes to get the things mounted in the case…

Unfortunately it is not possible to link product stock levels with those from the regular wonkystuff shop, so there might be times when items are not currently in stock. In these cases I will contact you to update the expected shipping times (which will need to include the manufacturing time of course).
