worked in my MD recorder

I consider myself experienced at soldering, but I am not overly skilled at SMD-level soldering. I was able to solder this and get it working. The only trouble I encountered was getting the correct flow from ribbon cable to PCB, i had to press down on ribbon cable, then solder it. Otherwise, the solder would flow under the ribbon cable and not make a proper connection. This is not the fault of the display. I am very happy with having an MD unit with the screen again!

The best RH10 display and the best experience

This is the third display I’ve installed now, and my three RH10s are very happy.
I’ve been following the project from the early days and am happy to wait for Asivery’s displays to be in stock. They’re the cheapest, they have a test mode, and you get direct support from the guy who designed them and who also maintains Web Minidisc Pro.

The RH10 is only valuable if its operating status is displayed on the screen!

The instructions on how to replace the display were explained in detail, so I had no worries at all.
