Product: Acorn Archimedes A3000 Replica PCB 26 sold
Excellent quality replica PCB
I purchased the PCB because i became enthusiastic about the A3000 by rescue repairs by another Big Ben Club member in the Netherlands.
I have a large collection of 8 bit Acorn Computers, but this was going to be my first 32bit ARM based machine. My goal was to built this machine with new or NOS parts available on e-Commerce sites or eBay. I currently have only two chips missing: The ARM2 processor and the VIDC chip. By borrowing these chips from an Archimedes 310 i have confirmed that the PCB works like a charm! I would assume that the majority of builders use this PCB with donor boards, but i currently have the precious last two chips visible on my horizon.
Thanks for this excellent replica, it was easy to build!
Response from Bob's Bits:
Thank you Rik! I'm so glad it was a success. A lot of time and money went into making this replica, and reviews like yours make it all worth it. Thanks again!
