I am more than satisfied

Bought two chips for t-55 controller (I think that was its model), and I am impressed and so satisfied by the fact that I can finally use my controller on my PC without losing connection due to old Micro USB because USB C ensures stable connection. Only thing I noticed is that you cannot turn on the PS4 by connecting the controller directly to a PS4 with USB C cable and pressing PS button on the controller, everything else works as it should, audio quality through connected headset seems better.

Great mod, does what it says.

the piece works as advertised, this transforms your controller to usb type c. It’s also sturdy when connected to a cable. Overal positive. One remark I have is that I use it exclusively on pc, call of duty black ops 3 has native support for ps4 controller when connected through cable but this change breaks that support. It’s not a deal breaker as steam has good controller support but you will see Xbox controls displayed on your screen instead of the normal PlayStation ones. Overal positive experience and happy with it. The shipping took almost 3 weeks just to send a letter, this was longer then expected. But still worth it if you want to ban everything non usb c

doesn't work with bluetooth, struggles to charge itself

i used to have that same usb-c adaptor a year ago but i broke it
i bought 3 others recently, and none of these worked on bluetooht like mine was
and some are even not working
i can't figure out if it comes from the ps4 pad or the adaptor or the ribbon connector wich i bought a new one for this and it dodn't work

Great Quality, Easy Installation

The Board was of excellent quality and I didn't have any issues installing it! It even comes with some auxiliary parts in case you damage things like the light-guide when disassembling. I had to slice/file open the plastic of the controller for the mouth of the port, but that would have to be done no matter what board you get!

Great charge port replacement!

The original plug board in my PS4 controller stopped working so I bought this as an upgraded replacement. Initially, I had issues. The USB-C port is a little off, as I had to cut further down than expected and there's a gap at the top. Very minor. It also didn't work initially and wouldn't charge from it, nor would all the LED's work, but through no fault in the product. Turns out my ribbon cable was damaged and after swapping it out with one from an older controller, everything works perfectly now. The LED's are exactly the same as the original board. Very nice, easy upgrade for a PS4 controller.

Perfect Companion To The PS4 Controller

Finally free from disconnections!

Great bit of kit

Bought this to repair ps4 controller that wasn't charging. It still isn't charging and I haven't worked out why yet but it does connect as a wired controller.
Anyway, first time doing something like this and the board and instructions were great. I felt confident installing it and I'm happy with the purchase.
Fully recommend getting the longer ribbon cable too.
