Affordable to rescue a gem in MD

Considering the well thought through, step by step manual, even a beginner will manage to do the change without doubts.
Even the support is outregous friendly, quick, effective and efficient.
The thin copper stripes and one of the buttons became loose and I had to ask about how to re-attach them properly.
In my point of view regardlessly highly recommended to get one of these replacement displays.

Screen replacement on my old Sony RH1

The displays on my old recorder were barely legible. When I saw that these were available new and that I could replace them myself, I decided to buy them. I watched the videos beforehand to get a feel for how difficult the replacement might be. I found it very easy and not particularly challenging. Everything is a bit smaller, but if you take your time, it's really quite manageable. The result is perfect. It's fun again to listen to music on the recorder and look at the display at the same time. I'm very satisfied.

Excellent product

The display is excellent, nothing short of it. Installation is a bit fiddly. As is plainly stated, anyone attempting to install it themselves should be reasonably familiar with delicate small assemblies. The available videos are great, as are the instructions provided by Sir68k. The end result is clearer and finer than the large pixel original Sony display. It's rated for up to 40,000 hours, so there isn't any need to dim the display now. Truly saves the best MD recorder ever made.

Rev-F+: Fully Interchangeable Display Unit

I replaced the display unit of my MZ-RH1 and confirmed that it works perfectly.

The most difficult part for me was reassembling the T-Mark button. I recommend carefully observing and documenting its original condition before disassembly.

RH1 Display module

This has worked really well. However fitting it is very fiddly as the components of the minidisc player are very fragile. Make sure you have the right tools and patience. The instruction video is excellent, I wouldn't have been able to swap this in without it.

Beautiful Display

I got the Rev F+ display and it looks beautiful. Installation and reassembly was pretty easy - once I figured out the T-Mark button orientation after it fell out of place! The fact that F+ requires no changes to the enclosure itself was fantastic. I am very pleased with this replacement, and cannot believe it sells for just €65.00. I am so grateful that Sir68k bought this to regular people like me. Thank you!
