However, these systems were limited to analog RGB signals and basic composite sync outputs. They lacked proper color-encoded composite video (FBAS) and Y/C (S-Video) outputs, which are essential for connecting to many TVs and monitors.

This limitation meant that users could not take full advantage of the Amiga's advanced graphics capabilities when connecting to composite or S-Video inputs. The AMYVIDHYBRID+FBAS fills this gap by adding proper color composite and Y/C outputs, ensuring compatibility with a wider range of displays.

Warning: Pin 1 is identified by a square pad and the number "1" on the PCB. Reverse insertion could cause damage!
