Description

The IS3730 is an Art-Net receiver chip. It connects to Ethernet to receive Art-Net data and provides an SPI interface for your microcontroller to read the DMX data. This chip handles all the Ethernet protocol complexity and delivers clean, ready-to-use DMX data over SPI.

Art-Netβ„’ Designed by and Copyright Artistic Licence Engineering Ltd.

How Does It Work?

The chip provides two interfaces:

  • An SPI interface for your microcontroller, FPGA, Arduino, etc.
➜ This is where your system reads the DMX data.

  • A RMII interface to connect your preferred Ethernet PHY transceiver chip, like the LAN8720.
➜ This is where the chip acces the ethernet to connect with the Art-Net Controller.

Default Chip Settings

Art-Net Settings:

  • IP: DHCP
