The Canopy is a smart air quality module designed for the SprigStack ecosystem. It combines the ENS160 CO₂, VOC, and air quality sensor with the BME280 for temperature, humidity, and pressure. Plug it directly onto a SprigC3 devkit to make it a fully integrated Home Assistant sensor with optional battery power.
Monitoring air quality is becoming increasingly important at home and in workspaces. Many available sensors are either expensive, inaccurate, or difficult to integrate into Home Assistant. We wanted to build a modular, maker-friendly, and affordable solution that leverages the SprigStack system to make advanced environmental monitoring seamless.
🌿 High precision ENS160 sensor for CO₂, VOCs, and overall air quality index
🌡️ Integrated BME280 for temperature, humidity, and pressure
🔌 Direct plug-in to SprigC3 devkit → ESPHome + Home Assistant integration
🔋 Seamless battery power option via SprigC3’s onboard management
⚡ Part of the SprigStack modular ecosystem, expandable with other boards like Root (plant sensor) and Thorn (MOSFET controller)
With Canopy, you can easily create a powerful, precise, and portable smart air monitoring system without complex wiring or setup.
