What is it? ClimaControl for Ecodan is designed to communicate with Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan Air-to-Water heatpumps. This module enables you to get a lot of information from your heatpump. No cloud connection is needed.

We are currently integrating changing several settings through the ClimaControl module as well.

Secondary CN105 port ClimaControl has a secondary CN105 port. This makes it possible to also connect the original Mitsubishi Electric wifi module in parallel to the ClimateControl module and keep all the existing MelCloud features.

Some heatpumps use an external wireless temperature sensor/controller that is normally connected to the CN105 port. You can also keep using this in parallel with ClimateControl.

Home Assistant Home assistant is supported and works directly plug & play. There is a /state topic available that outputs all available settings.

HTTP GET - JSON The state of the heatpump can also be read through HTTP GET.

Dynamic energy prices The ClimaControl modules makes it possible to control the heatpump based on dynamic energy prices through Home Assistant. This way you can heat the water boiler when energy prices are low.

The following settings can currently be read from the heatpump:

  • connected: true
