A power distribution board for Eurorack modular synthesizers. 14 keyed 16-pin IDC connectors, two screw terminal inputs, three status LEDs. PCB size: 20 × 5 cm. Fits a standard 84HP row.
Distributes +12V, −12V, and +5V from your PSU to up to 14 modules simultaneously. Power enters via screw terminals, compatible with any supply that exposes its rails through a terminal block. Two inputs are available, on opposite edges of the board, so you can cable from the top or the bottom of your case and daisy-chain a second bus if needed.
The 16-pin IDC connectors are keyed: a reversed ribbon cable physically cannot plug in. No reverse polarity risk.
Three LEDs indicate whether each rail is live and correctly polarised. Useful during initial setup and when troubleshooting.
Ready-made: SMD assembly, fully assembled and tested, ships ready to install. Requires a PSU with a +5V output.
DIY kit: through-hole only, no SMD. The silkscreen labels every component. An interactive BOM is available online to guide the build. The +5V rail can be generated on-board by adding an optional 7805 linear regulator. Useful if your PSU only outputs ±12V.
The DIY version also includes:
The short copper tracks between connectors keep ground rail impedance low: relevant under high current draw.
Other sizes are available in the same range: 10, 18, 26, and 28 connectors. Same layout logic, different connector count.
