Tuner

Tuner is a Eurorack Chromatic Tuner based on the sub-circuit proposed by LMNC in his amazing Performance VCO.

Tuner module

The module is based on the Arduino Nano. Its firmware is open source and can be found at https://github.com/dhaillant/Tune-O-Matic. The firmware has been improved, offering better accuracy and several options such as base tuning, different charsets, dimming, and more.

Check https://lookmumnocomputer.discourse.group/t/tune-o-matic-tuner/36 for discussions around the circuit.

Tuner module

The 7 segment display can be either Common Cathode (CC) or Common Anode (CA) and the jumper S1 selects which type of display is installed.

The 4 jack sockets are passively connected. This way, you can insert your signal on any connector, and get 3 (passive) outputs. So, even if you don't use the tuner feature, the module can still be used as a simple 1 to 3 passive multiple.

The PCB comes with pre-assembled SMD components. You only need to solder the few remaining through-hole components such as the power connector, the display, the LEDs, the Arduino connectors and the jack sockets.

Specs

The module is 3U (Eurorack), 4HP wide, 30mm deep with an Arduino Nano.

Power requires +12V only at 65mA.
