LED Cube 6x6x6 consists of 216 5mm WS2812 addressable RGB LEDs, divided into 36 vertical sticks, each with 6 LEDs. Each stick has a 2x2 right-angle pin header (5V, GND, Data In, and Data Out). The data is routed from the Data In pin to the first (bottom) LED, which has its Data Out pin connected to the Data In pin of the next LED, etc. The last (top) LED on the stick then has its Data Out pin routed back down the stick to the Data Out pin on the header.

It is much easier to assemble than most 3D LED cube kits, which usually require "dead bug" style soldering of individual LED pins.

Available as a kit, with or without the connectors pre-soldered on, with or without the laser-cut frosted acrylic enclosure, and with or without a pre-soldered and programmed Pixelblaze controller with Sensor Expansion Board and 5V power supply. If the "PixelBlaze & Sensor Expansion" option is not chosen, you will need to provide your own controller and power supply.

If you choose the "Pre-Soldered Connectors", "PixelBlaze & Sensor Expansion", and "Enclosure" options, your cube will arrive fully-assembled and ready to "Plug and Play". Otherwise, all other option combinations are shipped "flat", may require soldering, will require plugging the LED sticks into the base station, and assembling the enclosure. Assembling the enclosure requires a 2mm hex driver and 5mm socket. I highly recommend the iFixit Mako Driver Kit.
