This is a historic 512kb expansion for the Amiga 500 Classic that increases its RAM to 1MB in total (512k chip + 512k fast/slow).

It is compatible with ALL revisions, including the latest 6A of the motherboard with Agnus 8372A. To access up to 1MB of CHIP RAM, you need to remove the jumper on the expansion and cut the track between pads 2 and 3 of JP2, which is located on the A500 motherboard, and then solder pads 1 and 2 together. This operation is only for experienced users.

You can choose between two versions: with or without RTC (Real Time Clock) + alkaline backup battery.

The RTC chip is an Epson RTC62421A, which is perfectly compatible with the original OKI MSM6242, but more accurate.

The board comes fully assembled and ready to use.

You can install it easily through the lower door (trapdoor). You don't have to open the computer.
