If you’re operating in a 220–240V region and own a Japanese NEC PC-FX, you already know the limitation: the console was designed exclusively for Japan’s 100V AC mains. Using an external step-down transformer is mandatory—and often inconvenient, bulky, and not ideal for long-term reliability.
Tetsu no Onna is a purpose-built internal power conversion kit that eliminates the need for a step-down transformer entirely.
This kit replaces the original Japanese PSU with a modern DC-input power board. It accepts a standard 12V DC supply via a 5.5mm OD / 2.5mm ID barrel connector, providing clean and regulated power directly to the console.
A guided installation tutorial is included.
The rear barrel connector assembly is engineered to snap neatly into the original back panel opening—no drilling, no cutting.
You will need a suitable external DC adapter:
Use a regulated, high-quality adapter for optimal stability.
This kit provides a clean, transformer-free solution for safely operating your PC-FX outside Japan—without altering the console’s chassis or originality.

🇪🇺 European Union customers
EU VAT is collected at checkout by Lectronz on our behalf using their IOSS registration. You should not need to pay anything extra on arrival.
⚠️ EU orders are limited to €140 (excluding shipping and tax) to keep your order under the €150 IOSS threshold. Orders above this amount lose IOSS protection and would be subject to border VAT collection plus a customs handling fee charged by your local courier — almost always slower and more expensive than placing two smaller orders. If you need a larger quantity, please split your order or message us first.
Note: Starting July 1, 2026, the EU is introducing a flat €3 customs duty per item on parcels under €150. This policy will be updated closer to that date.

🇺🇸 United States customers
US import tariffs are collected during checkout via Lectronz's Prepaid Duty (PDDP) system. You should not need to pay anything extra on arrival — the price you pay at checkout is the final price.
This covers the 10% Section 122 import surcharge currently in effect on goods entering the US (introduced February 24, 2026). US import rules have been changing rapidly since the de minimis exemption ended in August 2025, and prepaying duties through Lectronz is the cleanest way to ensure your parcel clears customs without surprise fees at your door.

🇬🇧 United Kingdom customers
No VAT is collected at checkout for UK orders, and Retrology Repair is not UK VAT-registered.
⚠️ UK orders are limited to approximately £135 (excluding shipping) to stay under the UK low-value consignment threshold. Orders kept under this value should not attract UK VAT or import duties on arrival. Orders above £135 would be assessed for VAT (20%) and potential customs duties by HMRC on import, plus a courier handling fee, so please keep your order under this limit. If you need a larger quantity, please split your order or message us first.
