Power Pal is a high-power, high-efficiency DC-DC synchronous buck converter designed to work with a wide range of battery packs and voltage supplies. Built for serious prototyping and deployment, Power Pal delivers 12 V, 5 V, and 3.3 V simultaneously from inputs spanning 15-52 V (suitable for 5S to 12S lithium packs).

Product Specs:

  • 12 V @ 10 A (up to 16 A*)
  • 5 V @ 5 A (up to 6 A*)
  • 3.3 V @ 5 A (up to 6 A*)
  • Wide input range: 15–52 V (14.5 V min)
  • 160 W continuous operation at 25 C ambient, 250 W achievable by adding a fan with the onboard JST connector.
  • VIN pass-through terminal for powering downstream stages
  • Adjustable output trim to compensate for cable or load drop
  • High efficiency two-stage cascaded architecture for reduced heat generation.
  • Microcontroller-compatible external enable (EN).
  • Power-Good (PGOOD) output with onboard status LED
  • Controlled 80 ms soft-start to reduce inrush current during power-on.
  • Screw-terminal power connections for robust installs
  • Optional 12 V fan header for active cooling
