The goal of this module is to connect all of your blinds and shutters to Home Assistant. This works using ESPHome and some custom code already written for you!

Before buying this product, note this remote is compatible with Somfy RTS shutters, make sure your blinds are of the RTS variety, you can verify by looking at the back of your remotes for the RTS symbol.

This product consists of:

• An ESP32
• A CC1101 RF Module
• A custom-made PCB
• A custom 3D printed box.

You will need to use an old USB phone charger with a USB C cable or leave the device plugged in to your PC running Home Assistant.

I have tested this product for years in my connected home, works perfectly every time!

Quick start guide

To configure the device for your home you need to connect it to your computer running Home Assistant, open ESPHome on that device, click on add a device and follow the instructions here https://github.com/Viproz/esphome-somfy/tree/master#usage to create your yaml configuration.

Once the device has been programmed pair it with your blinds following instructions here https://github.com/Viproz/esphome-somfy/tree/master#how-to-program

Aternatively if you want you can use rstrouse ESPSomfy-RTS, the board comes pre-installed and tested with this software. Documentation is available here however I do not provide support for this solution.

Origin of products

All the engineering and manufacturing was done in France, the PCB was manufactured in Germany (Aisler.net, check them out!) and ESP32/C1101 module sourced from China.
