The thumbwheel uses a carefully selected long-life precision potentiometer rated for approximately 1 million rotations, far exceeding the lifespan of typical potentiometers used in most remotes.
To provide an exceptionally smooth feel, the thumbwheel rotates on a ball bearing, eliminating unwanted friction and ensuring consistent operation throughout its lifetime.
The deadman's switch uses a high-quality microswitch rated for approximately 100,000 clicks. Combined with a dedicated return spring, it provides a crisp and reassuring tactile feel while helping prevent accidental throttle input if the remote is released.
