C&Dtimer and control panels

I am using the C&D timer for a few years know. Not aware of processor knowledge I am very glad with the development of a timer that is pointed to the needs of the user. Easy to use and program a variety of parameters.
When available new updates were released and easy to install.
The latest controlpanels are also very useful.

Everything I could want in a timer and more.

My first timer was put on a Cardinal that was converted from glow. I could never get this airplane to maintain line tension throughout a full pattern without flying 4.6 sec lap times which sacrificed the corner due to a 3" bell crank. With the climb and dive timer I was able to slow the lap times to 5.1, regain the corner and have good line tension throughout the pattern.
Other great features:
LED and how it flashes white just before takeoff and engine shutdown.
E-Stop is an ability to stop the motor at any time during the flight.
Constant RPM in level flight throughout the flight with decreasing battery voltage.
Overhead boost in engine power.
Bluetooth programming.

Climb and Dive

Hi Team,I hope you are doing well.I am writing to you because I am using your software, and I have encountered a limitation regarding the motor pole count settings.Aside from this issue, the product works perfectly and it is a real pleasure to use.Currently, the software allows a maximum configuration of 24 poles. However, the motor I am using has 28 poles. Because I cannot select the correct number, the RPM feedback in the application is inaccurate. Are there any upcoming software updates or development plans to increase this limit? It would be awesome if a future update could support motors with 28 poles (or higher). Thanks for your time and for continuously working to improve the product!

Response from CircuitFlyer:

Thank you for your positive review. As suggested, I just released a new version of the code, v1.5.3, that now allows for 28 pole motors. Refer to the instructions to download the latest release and update the code.py file on your timer.

Just what I needed for an upgrade to my model.

I want to thank Paul Emmerson for the way he handled this situation. My first timer had an electronic failure after only 4 flights. Because of the very expensive postal service cost to return the bad timer, he gave me a nice discount on a new one. I have 3 flights now on the new one and it is working well. Many thanks Paul.

The climb and dive timer works very well in my control line airplane. Also, the online instructions are well written and easy to follow.
