I like Stargate, so made an LED ring in the same style.

I also have a 3D model for it to work with - free to download and print yourself. Also, a 10cm mirror and a 10cm clear with mirror film can make an infinity mirror for the kawoosh if you like. See files on CodeBerg. See Video for assembly details.

This has 552 LEDs, in rings of 81, 27, 27, 117, 27, 39, 117 and 117 LEDs.

The LEDs are WS2812 style, working from 3.3V to 5V, though would recommend 5V, such as from a USB charger.

Note that current for all LEDs on white will probably be too much for a USB charger port, but a gate dialling pattern should be fine. My LED controller modules have code specially for this.

Obviously this is a hobbyist development board, not a final consumer product.
